Option One
Friends at Home Volunteer
Dedicate 30 minutes each week to hop on a 1:1 Zoom session with an FCO participant. Spend time chatting, getting to know them, asking about their day—just enjoy being a friend. We will provide you with some zoom friendly activities and conversation topics to use if you’d like. The timing will be made based on your availability. Your friendship makes a world of a difference!

Option Two
Program Volunteer
Dedicate just 30 minutes to an hour a week to join one or more of our Friendship Circle Online Zoom sessions. Your presence will help support the instructor, connect with participants, and bring positive energy to the group. You may be asked to assist with tasks such as starting the Zoom session, managing the waiting room, or taking attendance, but your most important role is to help create a warm, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for all.
We are happy to adjust the timing based on your availability.

Option Three
Program Lead Volunteer
Dedicate 30-45 minutes each week to hop on Zoom with a group of FCO participants, and lead a planned zoom session with them. We will provide you with clear instructions and a schedule, complete with links of activities and videos to screen share. Log on and have fun! Lead volunteers need to be noticing, caring, and capable people. The timing can be adjusted based on your availability. Your friendship makes a world of a difference!
Trivia Time (30 min)
A 30-minute session filled with trivia games, fun facts, and thrilling challenges. Discover new information and put your knowledge to the test!
Rise and Shine (40 min in the Morning)
A 40-minute morning session that starts with a question of the day and wraps up with a show and tell, featuring storytime, games, and occasionally crafts!
Afternoon Social (40 min in the afternoon)
Enjoy a fun 40 minutes each week, with a new theme every time. Participants will follow a step-by-step drawing tutorial related to the theme, watch an engaging video, play a game, and have a discussion.
Book Club (30 min)
Choose a book to read with the group and meet weekly to read snippets, discuss key topics, delve into the theme, and bring the story to life.
